Those at CYT were devastated to hear what happened in the french quarter in the early morning hours of New Year’s Day. The loss of innocent lives and the grief of their loved ones is unimaginable. The music and setting of Hadestown is hugely inspired by the vibrant and beautiful city of New Orleans.The people of Louisiana have been through many different tragedies, and our community is known for coming together to help each other through times of need. CYT will be donating a portion of the tickets sales from our winter production of Hadestown to the victims of this attack and their families.
