Designed for students ages 11–15, Intro to Musical Theater is the perfect starting point for teens looking to build a strong foundation in singing, acting, and dance. As a recommended prerequisite for many advanced CYT classes, this course focuses on the essential skills needed for success on stage.

Students will develop vocal technique, projection, stage presence, character development, movement, and introductory choreography through engaging exercises, ensemble work, and performance activities. Whether new to theater or looking to strengthen existing skills, students will gain confidence, creativity, and the fundamental tools needed to grow as musical theater performers.
