CYT Lafayette’s 5th Annual Summer Stock Show
This summer, CYT Lafayette is excited to bring you our
5th Annual Summer Stock Show, Descendants! If you love performing, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved in a fully staged production!
Based on the popular Disney Channel Original Movies, Disney's
Descendants: The Musical is a brand-new musical jam-packed with comedy, adventure, Disney characters, and hit songs from the films!
Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost – home of the most infamous villains who ever lived – the teenaged children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island… until now. When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?
Important Details:
- Rehearsals: Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM, from June 15th - 19th
- Performances - June 20th: where campers will perform two shows for friends and family!
This one-week
show/rehearsal process will give students the chance to dive into a complete theatre experience. From rehearsing songs, dances, and lines, to bringing the show to life with costumes and props, it's all about the magic of live performance.
Please Note:
- This is a show/rehearsal process, not a day camp experience.
- Audition videos are due MAY 30th, and students will be required to learn lines, music and some choreography before they arrive on the first day. Students who register after audition videos are due will be cast in the ensemble.
