In this hands-on class, students will explore the art and technique of theatrical lighting design, learning how lights shape mood, focus attention, and bring a show to life. Teens will practice designing cues, programming lighting boards, and experimenting with color, intensity, and movement to create dynamic stage effects. With a focus on technical skill, creativity, and collaboration, this class is perfect for students who want to illuminate the stage like a pro. The session wraps up with the design for our repertory studio classes' performances, where students showcase their designs in action, May 5-7!
