Step into the world of villains, troublemakers, and unforgettable antagonists! In this imagination-filled acting class, students will take a closer look at some of theater’s most fascinating characters while exploring what makes a "villain". Through creative drama games, character exploration, scene work, and storytelling activities, young performers will discover how to build complex characters and bring them to life on stage.

Students will:
• Create and perform larger-than-life characters inspired by their favorite villains and antagonists
• Build acting skills through movement, voice, facial expression, and imaginative play
• Explore character motivation, relationships, and storytelling through scenes and activities
• Develop confidence, creativity, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment
• Share their villainous character work in an entertaining parent showcase at the end of the session

From classic villains to misunderstood troublemakers, students will discover that every great antagonist has a story to tell. Through character study and creative exploration, performers will learn that playing the “bad guy” is about much more than being mean—it’s about making bold choices, understanding motivation, and creating a character the audience won’t forget!

Prerequisite: Students in this class are required to have taken a musical theater class prior to this one.
