Class Description

Learning percussion is incredibly fun and exciting, but sometimes getting started can be a challenge. This is a class for those interested in learning more about rhythm and percussion. In this class we will learn basic music theory, rhythm, and musicianship skills all while having FUN!

Brad Williams

Brad Williams was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia but now proudly calls Lafayette home. He received an education in all areas of music performance, specifically orchestral percussion. Brad studied at the prestigious studios of Brevard Music Center (North Carolina), Chautauqua Institution (New York), and Belmont University in Nashville. After college, Brad became an in-demand performer and studio musician in Atlanta. He has performed in the pit orchestra for countless shows and has shared the stage with artists Glen Campbell, Rita Coolidge, and more. Brad also serves as the Director of Technology at Ascension Episcopal School. He and his wife, Lisa, have two children: Skyler, an LSU music major, and Sophia, a 4th grader at Ascension.
