Description

This is an introductory musical theater class for ages 6-7! The students will get an overview of singing, dancing, acting, and creative art projects. They will also work on a showcase performance to be presented at the end of the 10-week class. This is a great way to introduce students to a variety of musical theater concepts, and this class is SO much fun! This session we will focus on music from your favorite animated movies, like Super Mario and so much more!

My name is Maria Kimball and I have been involved with CYT for 5 years through my daughter who began with ‪the Wiggles‬ at 5 years old. I have been a teacher in St. Landry Parish for 24 years with the last 15 years in Pre-K. I am looking forward to fostering the development of a lifelong love of music, theatre, and the arts through this class!
