Description

D.R.E.A.M.S.  is a theater class designed for those students with special needs (ages 13+), focusing on acting, singing and dancing. The participants of the class learn a mini production in 10 weeks and will perform in a dinner theater performance at the end of the session. You must have approval for attendance to this class by the DREAMS Founder Donielle Watkins or the Lead Teacher Vanessa Lomas. New Students, please email the instructor with any severe accommodations your child may need assistance with to confirm this class setting is a good fit.

Vanessa Lomas

Vanessa is a Board Certified Music Therapist in Lafayette, Louisiana. She owns TheraCare Music Therapy LLC where she engages clients from infants to adults with physical, mental health, emotional, social, and academic needs in music based activities. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Music Therapy from William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and a Masters Degree in Music Therapy from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She serves as secretary on the board of directors for the Autism Society of Acadiana and on the Children's Church Leadership team at Pathway Church.
