CYT offers classes in drama, music, dance, technical theater and so much more. Learn from experienced teachers, performers and technicians while having FUN.
Every session (fall, winter and spring) CYT offers 10-week theater arts classes to children & youth ages 4 – 18. These two hour after-school classes are held once a week in Lafayette.

Classes may include, but are not limited to:Wiggles (Ages 4 & 5) - Intro to Theater - 2 hour class $85.00
Our Gang (Ages 6 & 7) - Intro to Theater - 2 hour class $160.00
Drama I for Kids (Ages 8 to 11) - 2 hour class $160.00
Voice I for Kids (Ages 8 to11) - 2 hour class $160.00
Drama I for Teens (Ages 12 to 18) - 2 hour class $160.00
Voice I for Teens (Ages 12 to 18) - 2 hour class $160.00
Beginning Dance for Kids (Ages 8 to 11) - 2 hour class $160.00
Teen Dance (Ages 12 to 18) - 2 hour class $160.00
Advanced Dance* (Ages 10 to 18) - 2 hour class $160.00
Advanced Acting* (Ages 8 to 18) - 2 hour class $160.00
Improv* (Ages 8 to 18) - 2 hour class $160.00
Shakespeare* (Ages 11 to 18) - 2 hour class $160.00

*All students must attend Drama I, Voice I, and a CYT Dance class before enrolling in this elective class.
PLEASE NOTE: The enrollment age is the childs age as of the class start date (August 9th). For example, if your child is 11 and has a birthday on August 20th, he/she would be enrolled in classes for the 8 to 11 age group.
Enrolled students, ages 8 – 18, have the opportunity to audition for a CYT Broadway-style musical! Younger students may serve as helpers at CYT shows.
